About Dr. Steven J. Seage
I’m Dr. Steven J. Seage — an educational researcher, strategic data leader, and curriculum expert dedicated to transforming education through actionable insights. With over a decade of experience in educational research, leadership, and classroom practice, I specialize in turning complex data into powerful narratives that drive equity, innovation, and achievement.
My journey began in the classroom, where I taught elementary students for nearly a decade and served as an Instructional Team Leader. Driven by a passion for meaningful impact, I earned my Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, with a focus on Educational Research and Evaluation. Since then, I’ve expanded my reach — supporting districtwide initiatives as a Database Researcher at Broward County Public Schools, serving as a key contributor on the Superintendent’s AI Task Force, and leading evaluation projects that inform policy and strategic planning.
I teach graduate-level statistics, research methods, and educational leadership courses at Florida Atlantic University and Barry University. I’m a published scholar, a seasoned data storyteller, and a builder of systems — from dynamic Power BI dashboards to robust research-practice partnerships.
I’m always looking to connect with forward-thinking leaders, institutions, and organizations that believe in the power of research and innovation to improve outcomes. Whether it’s through strategic consulting, districtwide data initiatives, or leadership roles in research and evaluation, I bring a unique blend of academic rigor, practical insight, and systems thinking to every challenge.
