I’m Dr. Steven J. Seage — an educational researcher, program evaluator, and data strategist with over a decade of experience supporting PK–12, postsecondary, and graduate-level education.

My work focuses on helping school systems, leadership teams, and organizations translate data and research into actionable insights that improve teaching, learning, and leadership practice.

Whether designing research-based dashboards, leading professional learning, or mentoring aspiring school leaders, I bring a commitment to equity, inquiry, and evidence-based decision-making to every partnership.

While my foundation is in educational research, my experience in data systems, evaluation, and strategic insight extends across sectors — including public service, survey research, and education-focused organizations.

  • I teach and design graduate-level courses that connect research to real-world practice, supporting educators and aspiring school leaders in developing the knowledge and skills needed to lead effectively. I also mentor graduate students through thesis and dissertation work, guiding them in applying rigorous research to meaningful problems in education.
